Role overview

The technologist will perform microbiology work while also training in new molecular diagnostics techniques. Performs lab tests in the areas of bacteriology, mycology, parasitology. Identifies bacteria, fungi, parasites and performs antibiotic susceptibilities. Hands-on experience with clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and other tests pursuant to established protocols including maintaining equipment, records, and performing quality assurance activities related to examination procedures requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibilities. Training in molecular diagnostic methods (PCR) including nano-molecular diagnostic microbiology will be provided.

Role overview

The Microbiology Technician performs clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and other tests pursuant to established protocols including maintaining equipment and records and performing quality assurance activities related to examination performance under the supervision of a clinical laboratory technologist. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.

The Research and Development Specialist will perform method development and validations for new assays as well as periodic performance verification of current assays. This individual will assist with the roll out of new methods, QA activities, write SOPs, implement laboratory safety plans, training production staff as it relates to methods they have validated.

Role overview

This role is for a certified laboratory technologist (CLT) that desires to learn laboratory data analytics for LCMS/MS instrumentation. Acutis will provide hands-on training. Work entails but is not limited to, certifying data (e.g., verify retention time windows, update qualifier ratios, review chromatograms, analyze for carryover) and maintenance of LCMS/MS instrumentation.

The Molecular Diagnostics Technologist is responsible for performing all aspects of testing in a molecular laboratory. The technologist will evaluate and introduce new material, methods, and equipment to help determine the feasibility and/or adaptability for clinical molecular studies.
