The Technologist will perform microbiology work while also training in new molecular diagnostics techniques. The Technologist will perform lab tests in the areas of bacteriology, mycology, parasitology. Identifies bacteria, fungi, parasites, and perform antibiotic susceptibilities.

The Specimen Accessioner sets up, loads, operates and maintains the processing system for all incoming specimens. The Specimen Accessioner receives, processes, and verifies specimens accordingly and logs specimens into the information system, as necessary.

The General Supervisor - Molecular Diagnostics will oversee all pre-analytical, analytical, post-analytical, and method development activities in the molecular diagnostics department. Role overview

This role is for a certified laboratory technologist (CLT) that desires to learn laboratory data analytics for LCMS/MS instrumentation. Acutis will provide hands-on training. Work entails but is not limited to, certifying data (e.g., verify retention time windows, update qualifier ratios, review chromatograms, analyze for carryover) and maintenance of LCMS/MS instrumentation.

The Molecular Diagnostics Technologist is responsible for performing all aspects of testing in a molecular laboratory. The technologist will evaluate and introduce new material, methods, and equipment to help determine the feasibility and/or adaptability for clinical molecular studies.
